Our Work: Making Holistic Child Development A National Priority

Our Vision:
Every Child, Flourishing

Every child grows up in a loving and nurturing environment, and caregivers and educators are resourced to build this environment.

At EveryChild.SG, we believe that every child in Singapore deserves to grow up in a safe, loving and nurturing environment – one where they feel safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. In a society where childhood is not just about academic success, but growing into confident, kind and resilient adults who are ready for the future.

We also believe that parents, caregivers and educators should be adequately resourced and supported, by society and government, to build this environment.

Our Mission

Through research, public engagement, and collaboration with government and civil society, we work towards a Singapore that prioritises the well-being and holistic development of all its children.

Our Values

We are guided by these core principles in everything we do:

5

Children First

5

Science & Evidence-Based Practices

5

Compassion & Respectful Collaboration

Every decision we support is rooted in what is best for children – their overall well-being and future success.

Our recommendations and resources are guided by the latest research in child development, education, and psychology. We aim to present them in a way that is accessible, realistic and culturally relevant.

We recognise that parents, caregivers, educators, paediatric professionals and policymakers are all trying to do their best for children with the knowledge and resources they have. We aim to listen, learn, and work together towards meaningful change.

Our Work

We research, engage and collaborate to:

  • N

Encourage transformation of the primary school curriculum, testing methods (including PSLE), and inclusive resourcing and support systems, to better nurture children’s learning, emotional well-being, and 21st-century skills.

  • N

Ensuring parents, caregivers and educators have access to practical, evidence-based resources and support to strengthen attachment-driven, respectful and positive practices.

  • N

Raising awareness of how society as a whole can treat children with greater respect, empathy, and care – from public policies to everyday interactions.
